China Study Tours with Stephen Gaukroger
We have been privileged to organise visits for teams led by Stephen and Janet Gaukroger for “a journey of a lifetime“ to China.
The itinerary included:
We are not currently able to take any teams to China due to the changing circumstances globally and in the country.
However, we hope to restart distribution of locally printed Bibles through our trusted partnerships.
If you would like to visit China and understand more about how the Registered Church operates legally, we are able to make appropriate introductions so that you can experience China and learn more about the history and culture of the Chinese Church. Please email us with details of your interest, and we will help wherever possible.
The itinerary included:
- All international and local travel arrangements, accommodation and main meals, tour guides, entrance fees
- Seminar introductions to Chinese culture and history, including the role of the Church in modern China.
- Study and devotional times led by Stephen & Janet Gaukroger.
- Small group visits to remote rural Churches for Bible distributions and sharing by invitation of the local leaders.
- Experiencing first hand the incredible growth of the Chinese Church, helping to meet the massive needs for Bibles, training and support materials.
- Visiting Amity Press in Nanjing, where millions of Chinese Bibles are legally printed each year
- Touring the Nanjing War Memorial, a highly moving experience remembering the invasion of Nanjing by Japanese Troops in World War II
- A concluding tour of the main tourist sights in Beijing, including Great Wall, Forbidden City, etc
- Celebration Chinese Banquet at the end of the tour.
